Weekend flying at Wylie
Light Flight headed out to Wylie over the weekend of the 14th-16th June.
The weather conditions weren’t perfect however the everyone of our students got a flight in, Light Flight would like to welcome Greg our new hang gliding student and Rob Holmes doing a conversation course from paragliding (as he no longer wants to sit on the hill waiting to the wind to dye down).
Steve our farmer got his first 1500 foot tow, and was over the moon shouting everyone beers at the end of the day.
Tony Rothwell learnt to fly a couple of year back and has gotten back into hang gliding after nearly buy the whole of the Moyes factor on his new Sonic 165, his words where "Well it was a great weekend. My last tow was the best and worst of it..., the best flight but the worst landing!
The Collie boys where up having fun as normal, Caniy going from his Fun to his XTL and back to the Fun, soon we may see his girlfriend Sharon in the air.
Also Cyril joined us, after not seeing him for over a year and a half, his XT Pro 165 blue and yellow gilder still looking like new well at least it did before he broke an upright after landing, but it was good to see Cyril back in the air.
